Really helpful stuff! And nice house with great terrace. It is far away from the center but in a nice residential area where you can also feel the life of the locals.

The owner Nelly was very approchable and worked hard to make the hostel a comforatable place to be. I always felt that I could ask her questions and she would do her best to answer them. The area was safe, I came back alone at midnight and people were still out on the streets and I could have walked around with no problems. As a female solo traveller safety is very important to me. The free wifi was very useful and breakfast for 1.50 Euros was a nice added touch. It is also significantly cheaper than lots of other hostels and I feel it was very good value for money.
The only things that goes against the hostel is that it is slightly further out. Although this is a positive in my eyes as I got to see a real catalunian community if you have a limited amount of time in Barcelona you may want to be further in. I was there for 4 days and was fine though. There is also a lack of bathrooms. Although I was lucky and never had to wait long I did act quickly and others weren't so lucky!

I like the fact that they have a big garden, nice kitchen, the terrace have sunbeds, you can BBQ there. Rooms are very clean. Although it is quite far away from the city centre, the Horta district where it is located is a lovely area, with local bars, restaurants and bakeries serving excellent food.

Great location, great staff... Really family-like environment, you can actually sleep! Seems weird 'cause we're partying in Barcelona, however when you hit the sack its nice to have some quiet... Close to public transportation, nice location not so downtown but at the same well positioned in between the major parks, the beaches and the 'ramblas' area... Like 15min from each by metro. Its a hostel so don't expect elevators and saunas, but they have bbq facilities and the greatest roof top 'terraza' around. Nice choice, would stay there again.

Wow! This hotel really lives up to it's name! Very clean hostal and well kept. It has a patio and a roof top. The owners are friendly and open and literally this place feels like home with access all area. You can use the kitchen and keep food in the fridge. Breakfast is 1.50 euros and is very generous. With that money there's cereal, bread, cheese, fruit, juice, coffee, jam etc etc etc... very generous for Barcelona! There's a large front room area with dining table and a snooker table. Free wifi and two computers. Great place for meeting other travellers indeed and is very popular! The locality has a village feeling and everyone is very nice in the area. It is close to shops and the shops are considerably cheaper in the area. So buy your water for 39 cents before heading central where it's 1.10 euros!
The hostel is far from central Barcelona which is not a bad thing because Barcelona is hectic! The central is only about 20 minutes by metro which is very frequent (3-4 minutes) and costs just 1.45 euros per travel! I also 'think' that there are bed bugs as I got itchy and had bite marks, so bring something to lay on the bed before sleeping on it.

Nelly and her son were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful! The room and the bathrooms were very clean and of great standard. It's the best hostel we've ever stayed at and we've traveled all over Europe. It is easy to get to the metro and doesn't take long to get to the central parts of Barcelona and there are several good bars and restaurants around the metro for breakfast and dinner - low prices and good quality.

Excellent choice for staying in Barcelona. Owners are very friendly and willing to help. There is also kitchen with fridge and stove, living room with tv and table football. There are also 2 PC's for use with free wifi. Breakfast is great and very cheap (from 9 - 10:30). It's close to metro station (about 30min. To Camp Nou) and you can get within 40min to Port Olimpic. You can also find free parking and pubs near Horta.
Only one - no closet for clothes in our room (4 people).

Warm service, very helpful team and a nice balcony. It also has very fairly priced breakfast. The kitchen and computer room are very nice.
Sleeping was disturbed a lot and the prices were higher
